Mastering

1. File name (example): 01_Artist – Title
2. High-quality 24-bit WAV or Aiff files
3. The pre master sample rates should be the ones you are working with during your recording and mixing sessions (44.1 to 96 kHz).
4. Export your mix with any important sound processors you have placed on the mix bus but turn off any limiters or clippers.
5. If you are using compression on the mix bus, make sure you want to send a pre master with your compression.
   You can also send two versions of the pre-master so that we can choose the best option:
   – version with your compressor on the mix bus
   – version without your compressor on the mix bus
   If you have your own version with a limiter on the mix bus, you can also send it as a reference version.
6. Headroom / Maximum peak level: -1 dBFS (-5 dBFS recommended)
7. When exporting/ bouncing, make sure normalization, dithering and noise-shaping is turned off.
8. Do not make “fades”, it’s best to describe when we should make fades.
9. Listen to the mix very carefully before finishing the mix session to make sure there are no issues (clicks, glitches, bad edits, gaps, etc.).
   Ensure that you are happy with the final result.
   Don’t rely too much on the mastering engineer to ‘fix’ big problems in your mix.
10. If you need special transitions or different sequences, please send us the reference file.
11. DDP – Please send a label copy with ISRC and EAN/UPC codes.

It is best to upload the files to any server (e.g. wetransfer.com) and send the download link to our e-mail.

You get 3 revisions as standard.

The delivery time is usually 2-6 business days from receipt of the order.

(If you order mastering of more than 3 tracks, the delivery time of the finished files is determined individually.)

You will receive a 44.1 kHz/24-bit mastering file.

If you need other formats, please let us know when ordering.

Please send up to a maximum of 14 grouped stems.

Of course, you decide how you group them, but a division into keys, synths, drums, bass, vocals, effects, etc. works well.

If you need additional mastering versions, e.g. instrumental version, radio version, etc. – please adding + Alternate Stereo Mastering Versions to your order.

This service is paid extra.

The service will be performed only if the ordering party provides an alternative version together with the main version.

In this case, you need to provide additional tracks or stems.

For the price of this service, you can choose from 1 to 4 additional versions.

All additional mastering are processed in the same way as the main mastering.

Please add to order + Stereo Mastered Stems to get all mastered stems back (processed through the same chain as stereo mastering).

This service is paid extra.

We can make vinyl ready files for cutting elsewhere.

We do not provide vinyl cutting services.

We offer 3 revisions in a standard order – for 99% of orders this is enough for the customer to be satisfied with the results!
